This lithograph was inspired by my travels in Kyoto, Japan. May is azalea season in Japan, and I smelled these flowers wherever I went. In the gardens surrounding the Golden Pavilion, I saw this wizened tree with azaleas beneath it. Each print is handmade on Rives BFK paper.
